Hi!!!

Welcome to my last official update from DTS ☹️. I really cannot express how much it means to me to have you all supporting me and just taking interest in what I am doing with God! I am so excited to share all about the last part of my outreach with you all!!

My time in PNG took on three parts: one part in Port Moresby, one part in Western Province doing medical ship ministry, and the last part in Tuberseria, a village in Central Province. After the ship outreach and spending some time at the Jetty campus (our satellite campus in PNG) with the Norway team, our team headed out to Tuberseria. We had gotten connected with this specific village via the work of previous DTS teams there as well as some of the staff in PNG and Townsville. We initially did not know what kinds of things we would end up doing there, but we just trusted that God would open doors and give us the opportunities to serve that He had for us! Sure enough, we connected with a very small ministry there and they were ecstatic to have us join them. The aunties heading this ministry ended up doing so much preparation and prayer for our time with them. It is so difficult to explain how wonderfully the Lord put together our time there!

Once we arrived, we immediately started with ministry. We mainly did house visits to sick members of the villages and their families as well as fellowship nights. The house visits were incredible! The aunties had been praying for which houses to visit and it was so clear that we were supposed to visit the ones we did! So much breakthrough in conversations! I met the most amazing people and had interactions I’ll never forget. The fellowship nights were just as awesome! Tuberseria is a fairly large village, but the aunties had it on their hearts that we would reach the whole village in our time there. So, they divided the village into different zones - we held a fellowship night at a different zone each night. These fellowship nights looked like tons of dancing, singing, doing skits, speaking and sharing, praying, worshiping, and just meeting with people. We had some crazy encounters and were able to really partner with what God had been doing in individual people’s lives - so many people expressed that what we were doing was so impactful and meaningful to them. Soooooo many wild stories!

In addition to the house visits and fellowship nights, we visited the two schools in the village, hosted a movie night, and served with all the churches in the area. We got to know so many people in the village. It was so fun to have some sweet kids coming to visit us all the time, people we had met days ago coming again to talk with us, and just feeling so welcomed there. I really enjoyed being in this village! Such a privilege to work with the ministry there as well! I learned so much from the aunties, and we got to work alongside some youths the ministry was investing in. It was such a wonderful time there and so clear that we were really one part of God’s much bigger story there!

Please join me in praying for the sick, hurt, lost, disunified, and broken in Tuberseria!

After Tuberseria, we came back to the Jetty and headed back to Australia. Praise God for safe travel and safe times in PNG! I am now back on base in Townsville. We had a great week of debriefing, praising, praying, and hearing from more speakers about what life looks like now that our DTS is almost over! It’s been so great to reunite with the other part of our school (the New Zealand/Australia team) and hear about the crazy things God did on their outreach! I’m also back with the kids on campus which has been so sweet! We’ve been able to meet the January DTS school that is here now and work alongside YWAM Whitsundays again for The Send rally held in Townsville this past weekend! It is such a bittersweet time right now, lots to think about as things end and new things are ahead. I cannot wait to come back home so soon and to tell you all about what’s next for me! I am so grateful ☺️

Thank you all again! Blessings!
