Ahhhhh hiiiiiiiiii!! The past week has been soooo good! We finished up our first full week of lectures on foundations and have started this week on the nature and character of God! We have also had the opportunity to hear from so many speakers on other topics in between - it’s just all been so amazing!
This past week was probably the busiest so far, but with all good things! I’ve been challenged in new ways, invited to learn new things and grow in old ones, and just able to celebrate where the Lord has brought me.
I have been connecting with people here in really meaningful ways. Our cohort is so diverse, and it’s really been so fun and beautiful to learn from one another. We learn together, serve together, study together, laugh together, and seek the Lord together. So much unity, so much fun!
Highlights 🙌🙌
Family time together on Wednesdays with the whole campus!
We started our small groups! I get to spend intentional time with a few others from the cohort and two leaders on the campus each week. We had a yummy pancake breakfast this time!
We had our first meeting together as the Global Health team!!! We talked about the outreach ahead and I’M SO EXCITED MY HEART IS BURSTING
I officially went on an excursion (a five-minute walk to the grocery store) by myself 💪💪💪💪💪 I even brought little Ariah with me once, a huge success 🫡🫡🫡
Ice cream at Ken and Robyn's!!! (Ken and Robyn re-established YWAM in Townsville!)
Birthday brunch!! One of the girls in my cohort celebrated her birthday on Saturday, so we all had brunch together. So fun!!
We had the opportunity to go to Crystal Creek (a nearby swimming spot) on Saturday. It was so good to go out and explore a little bit!
I was able to visit the beach and climb Castle Hill again!
I started and finished a book (an absolute dub if you know how I am about reading 😂)
So many times in worship and prayer together - the best!!
We went on our second school visit! So good to talk with more kids and build relationships with them!!
The weather has been so beautiful!! It also rained for the first time here in months!
P.S. My cohort is currently raising funds to get everyone fully funded! If you feel led to give, see my “Connect” page and note where you would like the funds to go (to my peers, me specifically, etc.). THANK YOU I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
